A distinguished leader in the meeting industry for over two decades, Cindy Dodson holds the CMP, CGMP, and CGC credentials. She was recognized by Convention South Magazine as one of the "Top 100 Meeting Professionals to Watch," served on the Board of Directors for the Society of Government Meeting Professionals' National Capital Chapter, and has received two "Contract Planner of the Year" awards along with the NATCPA President's Award for Excellence.

Cindy has managed conferences ranging from 5 to 5,000 attendees, with a client portfolio including the Federal Aviation Administration, the United States Postal Service, and the Department of Defense. She has also presented at national conferences, served on advisory boards, and helped develop the Certified Government Meeting Professional designation now held by planners across the field.

A Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) with over seventeen years of experience, Debbie Wilborn has served as Executive Director for the North Carolina State Troopers Association (NCTA) since 2009, overseeing more than 2,100 members. Under her leadership, membership has tripled, and she has managed a corporate store that reduced the association's reliance on fundraising. She also manages day-to-day operations, finances, payroll, and board support.

As Registration Manager, Debbie oversees online registration services for federal agencies and associations. Her expertise spans project management, database development, on-site management, and contract negotiation.

With over 35 years of professional experience in customer service, sales, management, and association management, Rhenda Davis combines practical business knowledge with exceptional customer service skills. In her sixteen years at MSI, she has served as Membership Director, overseeing an association of 1,800 members, managing membership records and dues invoicing, and serving as backup for the Executive Director across all aspects of association management.

Rhenda‘s strengths lie in a team-focused approach to leadership: staff training, hiring, evaluation, and development, backed by strong organizational skills. She holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation through ASAE, reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional growth in the field.

With 17 years of professional experience in customer service, operations, and management, Katie Hess joined Meeting Services Inc. in 2018, bringing that depth of experience to association management. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive attitude make her an invaluable member of the team.

As Assistant Executive Director for an 1,800-member organization, Katie coordinates board meetings, manages committee tasks, and oversees publications, website updates, and membership needs. She also spearheaded the seamless transition of a 500-person hybrid conference to a fully virtual event in just over two weeks, setting a new standard for future events and expanding revenue streams and educational opportunities for the organization's members.

With more than nine years of experience in meeting and event management, Megan Smith serves as Vice President, bringing extensive expertise in event strategy and execution to every engagement. She has orchestrated events ranging from small, intimate gatherings to large conferences, and now sets the internal standards and training that guide how the entire team plans and runs events.

As Vice President, Megan manages the organization's key client relationships, plays an active role in new business pitches and proposals, and contributes to company-wide planning and goal-setting. She also represents the company at industry events, panels, and in the press, championing the standards of excellence MSI is known for.

Megan holds a CHIA certification (Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics) and a ServSafe Certification, and earned her bachelor's degree in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with double minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.

Her expertise spans the full lifecycle of event management, from meticulous preparation, venue selection, and BEO review to timeline development, committee collaboration, registration oversight, logistics and operations, on-site conference management, budgeting, social media management, and menu selection. She continues to bring the same hands-on rigor to post-event review, ensuring every gathering and every client relationship leaves a lasting positive impact.

Certified Government Meeting Professional with over 25 years of experience in meeting planning, project management, and technical writing, Renée Spivey has built a career on organizational precision and strong writing skills that have helped secure contracts with both private and government entities.

At MSI, Renée manages conference operations for one of our clients, overseeing 50 to 60 meetings a year. Her work spans the full meeting lifecycle, including hotel coordination, poster sessions, BEO review, transportation arrangements, room block monitoring, and event closeout. Her technical background also extends to app development for conference and federal clients, along with prior planning and administrative support for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Renée spent a distinguished 23 years in the federal government as executive administrator for a U.S. District Court Judge. She holds a Top Secret, SCI clearance assigned by the Department of Justice, a reflection of the commitment to excellence and security that carries through all of her work.

As the developer behind websites managed by MSI, Mike Southard delivers a diverse range of customized solutions tailored to each client's needs. He has built sites for organizations including the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, QUIGEN, NASVA, the US Geological Survey, the North Carolina Troopers Association, and SOFE.

Mike's extensive programming expertise and dedication to customer service ensure every site is developed and maintained to meet each client's specific technical requirements.
